... but those of you who are, please remember my uncle. He has apparently gone to reenlist with the military in Texas, which means assuming he passes his physical he will be leaving for Iraq on Sunday coming. He went back to reenlist because if he survives a year on active duty, he'll receive his pension as soon as he gets back to America, which would help with the financial state he's currently in.
Personally right now I'm praying he fails the physical (he's almost 50! the idiot cannot hear out of one ear!), because he didn't even say goodbye to me or my family, only my grandmother, and we didn't find out till a few hours ago where exactly he had gone. His sorry wife supposedly found out on Friday, and we've been calling them both all weekend trying to find out what was wrong with him, but only this afternoon did my mom finally get in touch with her and she told us.
So, please pray for him to fail the physical firstly, but should he pass it, to come back alive from this horrible war so that we can kill him ourselves once he gets back.

i'm not much of a praying kind of person... but i do belive greatly in good and bad karma... Your uncal could join the miliatary and come back alive.... Killing someone slates your soul..... and well if that happens who knows what will happen to your uncal.

Oh no. That is truly terrible news. I too am not a praying kind of person per say. But I will certainly light a candle and meditate on it and say a few words to the wind. I really hope he does not have to go. but if he does, I wish him safe travels.

I'll be sure to keep him in my prayers... I'm so sorry to hear about this.

Thanks, everyone.
I found out today more details. He's over there now, but fortunately even though he's on a military base, he's not signed into the military again. So thankfully he can come home and break the contract whenever he feels he needs to. Just pray for his safety, please, while he's over there.
