Well, the premise of the movie is that it's a love story. A soldier on leave meets a girl on break from college in Charleston, they fall in love in a short two weeks, promise to write to one another for the next year (because he only has one year left to serve his time). However, just as he's about finished with his year, 9-11 happens and all the military men are reenlisting, so he must decide between duty and love. He chooses duty... and it goes on, but that's getting too far into spoilers. I went to see it because it had Channing Tatum  He's a handsome actor who's movies I'd seen before I'd liked. |
