Heys, I've been tinkering lol. I know you didnt like the way the layout would stretch due to image sizes and Ive found a way to fix it. I added a script into the layout code that now automatically resizes any images posted that are over 550 px and brings them to that width, causing the threads to no longer expand and disrupt the layout. If someone wishes to see the entire image in its original size, all you need to do is hover over the image, a magnifying glass appears and if you click on the image then, it grows to full size inside scroll bars for easy viewing. If you dont like this fix then of course I shall take it out <3 Thought it would be helpful though!
