As the sun slowly slid behind the trees, Kira and Kaskae came closer to her home. The trees stood tall, proud, a brigade of soilders blocking their way. Looking up at the tree tops, Kaskae came to a stop, only to be pushed forward again by the knowledge that inside the trees, was a family. A family he was being welcomed into so easilly. He couldn't risk it, so he quickly caught up with Kira.

Kira loped along beside him, content to watch her white-and his black limbs flowing gracefully across the earth. Arriving at the tree line she sighed with relief before entering the calm stillness that the immense trees provided.
Kaskae...would you like to meet my mother? Or would you like to explore first?
A mischevious glint in her deep blue orbs flickered and was gone, but it plainly stated that she wanted to run through the trees with him for hours on end. Without realizing it consciously, Kira was becoming fond of the male-possibly due to the close proximity of mating season.

Kaskae flicked his plume back and forth. He looked deeper into the woods.
I think I'd like to explore, if you don't mind. Although the end of his sentence came out higher than the rest, he already knew her answer. He looked in her eyes, the color of the sea from which he arrived at the island. He couldn't help but smile.
The sun progressed lower on the horizon, illuminating the vanilla twilight that fell over the forest, Kaskae's new home.

Kira grinned playfully and bounded away from him, deeper into the Ravilin lands. Hers was a strong will, she did what she pleased. As the sun started to fade she wove in and out of the trees, her ghostly pale form stalking him from the shadows. A darting white blur could be seen occaisionally racing towards the dark wolf, where a playful nip was given before she melded back into the trees. Her voice was high and bright, enjoying the game she had created.
Can you keep up with me, Kaskae?
Mischeif danced in her glittering blue orbs, the sorrow of the forest momentarily forgotten.
